Ability to access image focal points

Can we add the ability to read the coordinates via the API for the image focal points? We are finding for large/wide images a user may set a focal point that causes the image to not be rendered ideally in mobile/tablet. Would like the ability to detect if the focal point is out of range so the developer can adjust as needed. Even better, the ability to allow the user to specify different focal points for Mobile/Tablet would be great.
