Multiple Hydrogen environments connected to single branch

There is currently a restriction on the number of Hydrogen environments that can be connected to a single GitHub branch.

I've encountered several instances when it would have made sense to connect more than one environment to the main branch. Wondering if that restriction could be eased?

Would a synchronized branch solve for it? If yes, maybe you could add an action like this to keep some branches syncd with main?

We can definitely create a synced branch on the GH side. Most use-cases revolve around create a separate, password protected environment for previewing content pre-publish. In those cases it is desirable for the code to be identical to main but to have an environment to differ only in that it's private and has a different env.
