Go to the ffmpeg homepage and click the Download button.
Go in and tap the Windows icon.
Click Windows builds by Gyan.Dev
Download one of the three and decompress. (ffmpeg-release-full.7z, ffmpeg-release-essentials.7z, ffmpeg-release-essentials.zip)
Insert the uncompressed file where you want it. (In my case, I put it in C:\ffmpeg.)
Right-click the Start button to pop up a pop-up window and click System.
Scroll down, locate and click System Information.
In the pop-up window, locate and click Advanced System Settings.
In the System Properties pop-up window, click Advanced, locate and click Environment Variables.
Scroll through the system variables to find the Path text and click the Edit button.
When the pop-up window pops up, press the New button, enter the folder path + \bin that you previously extracted, and press OK to finish. (The writer enters C:\ffmpeg\bin because the file was released in C:\ffmpeg. )
