If Night view is checked, a dark theme will be applied to the plot. If unchecked, regular white background view will be shown. For PDF output, it is better to use white background (day view). You may save the plot in pdf (or other image formats) using the disk shaped icon in the toolbar.

If Night, cake is checked, white represents the max intensity in the cake image.

If P, T label is checked, the pressure and temperature values will appear as a large label at the top left corner of the 1D pattern.
