Here's how it's expected to be:

  • Global theme: Breeze Dark
  • Colours: Utterly-Nord
  • Application Style: Lightly
  • Plasma Style: Utterly-Round
  • Window Decoration: Breeze Enhanced

Well, this is the infamous Korners bug. Something to do with KDE.
Even the stock Breeze theme has it (and it's much more pronounced).

@Rudraksh88 wasn't it fixed like 2 years ago?

Hmm yes. But while I was working with Zephyr, I mostly used Alacritty to test it (as it was quick and convenient) and it always had it. And I just found out that it happens with Kitty as well. Konsole doesn't have this bug. The Korners bug discussion concludes with an external blog having a demo theme for the new changes. I tried that out and it's still the same.

So, it's safe to conclude that only these terminal windows are affected at the moment. Which windows have this bug in your case?

And Zephyr is forked from BreezeEnhanced which already has proper blur handling at these Korners. I can confirm it works fine for all other windows.

To fix this, you can use Better Blur. It can add corner radii to the blurred regions too.
