Hey! Just curious. If I were to specify the same output HTML/TXT file when exporting messages on my Macbook, then on my iPhone (the two aren't fully sync'd as iCloud iMessage sync is off), would the resulting message database be a merged version of the two? Or would I need to export to separate files? |

imessage-exporterdoes not merge anything and will not let you write two exports of the same type to the same directory.
