Here you can find instructions how to set up the survey bot.

Requirements

Hardware

To use the bot a computer with a continuously internet connection is required. Furthermore the computer must run all the time during the survey. This computer don't have to be a highend model.

Operating system

We recommend the use of a Linux distribution as operating system, like Ubuntu Server. For instructions how to install Ubuntu Server visit this tutorial. If you are a newbie to linux and command line navigation, feel free to read this tutorial.

Install instructions

There are four versions of our bot you can download, a precompiled version for Windows, MacOS and Linux and the source code version where you have to install Python and the dependencies.

Before you start setting up the survey bot, please create a telegram bot account.
