This task disables Visual Effects for improved responsiveness. Optional user choice.

CHANGES:

  1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects\VisualFXSetting | set to 3 (REG_DWORD)
  2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\UserPreferencesMask | set to 9012038010000000 (REG_BINARY)
  3. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics\MinAnimate | set to 0 (REG_SZ)
  4. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\TaskbarAnimations | set to 0 (REG_DWORD)
  5. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\EnableAeroPeek | set to 0 (REG_DWORD)
  6. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\AlwaysHibernateThumbnails | set to 0 (REG_DWORD)
  7. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\FontSmoothing | set to 2 (REG_SZ)
