OpenTalks is a series of online talks organized by two teams: Chinese Open Science Network (COSN) and NeuroChat. The former is a grassroots network for promoting open science using Chinese, and the latter is a grassroots organization for online conference on computational cognitive neuroscience in the Chinese community. Combined the Open Science and Cognitive Neuroscience, OpenTalks has the following features:
- Open to topics that relevant to open science, reproducibility, or congitive neuroscience;
- Open to all levels of audience;
- Open to all levels of speakers, especially ECRs who lacks the opportunities to present their work.
OpenTalks是由Chinese Open Science Network (COSN)和NeuroChat两个团队共同打造的系列在线学术讲座。COSN（公众号: OpenScience)是致力于使用中文传播开放科学理论的松散组织；NeuroChat则是关注计算认知神经科学、以中文为主要学术语言的在线会议（2020年夏天组织了第一届）。正是由于OpenTalks的这两种“血统”，我们的系列报告具有如下特点：
- 对开放科学、可重复性以及认知神经科学的话题开放;
- 对所有的听众开放;
- 对所有职业发展阶段的报告人开放，尤其是对职业早期生涯、缺乏机会展示他们工作的青年研究者开放。
