Decision recap for "by address" view:
- 3 views:
- address
- muni
- hazard
- and we have a download page
Review by address discussion:
Murray: - Probability is represented as a mean value (percentage).
- need contextual information to explain the terms
- there is a standard scale that we use
Generally agreed that we should have a learn more section/modal dialogue
- perhaps point to USGS resources?
- Murray:
- cue card explaining the concepts in the address view
- use the same approach but with more detail for the muni view
- Jamie:
- really short supporting text for the probability and then we link to a training session
- Murray:
Discussion on Risk Section:
-
Jamie - confirmation that we are going to filter by building type
-
Tiegan - would like to see something on financial risk - perhaps loss ratio Retracted
- “We expect a moderate fraction of this asset to be lost…”
- for homeowners, this might be impactful
- Malaika - damage level allows homeowners to infer financial loss
- what about retrofit?
- Murray - loss ratio is really important - we don’t need to provide a number
- Sahar - would be nice to know the extremes on a continuum
- Murray the ratios provide the likelihood Jamie - we need to think more about the retrofit piece
- “We expect a moderate fraction of this asset to be lost…”
