Is this sentence accurate? If so, I think we should add it to the RFP: There is an existing UI for the SputnikDAO v2 contract available at https://near.org/astraplusplus.ndctools.near/widget/home?page=daos. However, it exposes the full functionality of SputnikDAO, which is much more complicated than just treasury management. A dedicated MultiSig Treasury application can attract a wider audience of less technical users. |

The following proposal is to build upon Astra++ and Sputnik contracts to improve functionality of DAOs (including NFT + Token based daos) as requested for a year, from a dedicated NEAR native team (Potlock Protocol - Potluck Labs & Potluck Foundation). We are passionate about DAOs on NEAR, support the DAO community and lack of innovation of DAOs is a blocker in our roadmap to decentralization. This proposal is to fund the advancement of DAO contracts and accompanying contracts. It is not directly to serve the Infra Committee need for a chain dashboard, I recommend integrating DAO proposals into current DevHub SaaS Product (estimated 1 x 2 week sprint). @codingshot It's an interesting proposal, but it seems to me like it's going in the opposite direction as the RFP. This RFP is trying to solve the problem that our existing DAO tooling is too complicated for the simpler common case of multisig treasury management. And your proposal is solving a different problem, that our existing DAO tooling is missing advanced governance and permissioning features to attract new tokens and communities. Does that distinction make sense? If so, maybe we should consider your proposal separately. |

Is the intent to award this to one single project, or are you open to funding more than one? In my view there should be room for more than one UI for Sputnik. Having two full-featured UIs would provide optionality for users and much needed redundancy if one goes down. In addition to any simpler / specialized UIs, and/or a battery of BOS components that could be integrated into any app. |
