To reproduce:

  1. Load katrina or any other dataset
  2. Create two Slice renderers
  3. Edit the mapping range in the Appearance tab of the second renderer named Slice_1
  4. Activate the first renderer named Slice
  5. Activate Slice_1 and its mapping range will show that of the first renderer, Slice

The mapping range will correct its display on the next Update call (ie by moving the scene). Git bisect indicates that this stems from #3676.
