What's in a preview?

This code is live on production. This particular pre-release came about as the bots lost their memory when upgraded to gpt-4o; well, not specifically because of gpt-4o, but I was in the process of changing how conversations worked, and so the thread was just not being access with its id. In addition, I decided to create shell conversations at init for those with thread_id, so they don't get shrifted as was happening.
I wanted to release anyhow... gpt-4o is more expensive than 3.5-turbo, but fantastic.
