My intention for expression control using my Morningstar controller was to always have the Mix control on my delay be mapped to an expression pedal. This works as intended until switching presets on my delay (Free the Tone Future Factory) as once a new preset is engaged it will default the mix to whatever was saved to the preset.

As a way of getting around this - I tried sending the current expression pedal value on each preset change. But that functionality does not scale with a min/max so it always ends up being a way higher mix than intended. For example, the midi expression message is setup to affect the mix from 0-60, but when a preset is engaged it will take the current mix setting and scale it full range from 0-127. So if the expression pedal was at 50%, it would be at a value of 30 for the mix and then jump to 64 when a new preset is engaged.

Would there be a way of applying the same min/max scaling to the send current expression value function?
