The XSZ Corporation

XSZ is a megacorporation which controls the east of the known areas of the Tyridium galaxy.

During the war against the Ascendancy, the Enclave was stretched thin all across the galaxy, and as a result, XSZ was permitted to govern a portion of the galaxy in order to allow the Enclave to focus their fleets over a smaller area in order to defend against the threat.

In the present day, many people suspect that XSZ is in contact with aliens, or possibly even the remnants of the Ascendancy- their technology is always a few years ahead of what smaller corporations are capable of designing.

On XSZ-controlled planets, the local leadership is democratically elected once every three years, although the candidates are exclusively high-ranking XSZ employees.
