Reference slides in the lesson plan, don't duplicate information, run into issues of having 2 sources of truth. Keep lesson plan general such that the slides become the source of truth
On slides, use bold/italics/strikethrough/etc. text to differentiate, grab attention, etc.
Have students pair program for activities? May help with not going over time, just a suggestion, may not always be applicable
