Jedi:Downtime

The world isn't always in crisis or in need of the Jedi, so the Jedi either spend time on the masteries or cultivate a pasttime.

Each has a past-time or industry they select that perfectly suits their temperament. This allows the diversion necessary to prevent obsessions that can build from excessive self-study.

Example pastimes-industry:

• mathematics,
• cultivating bonsai trees,
• mastering a musical instrument,
• gardening-cooking,
• geometrical engineering (kite building, 3d modelling);
• what else...?

..but not:

• barbershop quartets or other entertainment:

The master does not expend their chi without serving the four "Spirits".
