Academy:Safety Net

Safety Net:

What if you fail on the path of the Jedi? Since there is no safety net for the Jedi, they must be continuously perfecting themselves. If you're not committed, you'll need something to fall back on. An elite skill or refuge that can get you immediate relief in the economic or social system.

In a perfect world, there is no need for the Jedi to have a safety net: they are responding to the collective desire (and the Force's desire) for what amounts to value generation.

Fall backs:

  • Skills that have high value presently
  • Keeping a reserve of convertible assets or other things to keep you through rough times
  • How to live minimally without high maintainance
  • Finding food and shelter wherever you are.

Secondary Students:
  • personal space
  • plan ahead for the future
  • be active with the people around to learn and help them
  • take mini adventures out in the city, bike or bus around to learn the city and meet new people

Apprentices:
  • Cultivate a skill that keeps you in demand.
  • Save your resources for times of need.
  • Minimize your dependencies, but keep your relationships healthy
  • Live in the wilderness for awhile so you can learn to survive and trust yourself.
