Meier Crossfeed plugin in Lyrion

Hello

One key feature of Foobar is the Meier Crossfeed for Heaphones.
It reinjects in left ear a small amount (10-20%) of the right signal, with a small delay
This compensate the fact that recordings are made for being played by loudspeakers in front of listerners.

Do we benefit the similar in Lyrion

I once wrote a plugin to use the Bauer stereophonic-to-binaural DSP (https://github.com/terual/BS2B), maybe you can use this plugin to use as a starting point for a Meier plugin.

BTW: I don´t think there are any users for this plugin right now, so no guarantees it still works.

I saw that the bs2b binary also supports a Meier profile, so if you are interested I can look into a configuration option so you can select the profile.

I have released a new version of the BS2B plugin where you can select the Jan Meier preset. Add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/terual/BS2B/master/repo.xml to the additional repositories and then install the plugin. You can enable the plugin in the player settings.

It has some limitations right now, as it only works for mp3 and flac files and only when your server is installed in a Linux environment.

Is there anyway to set the level of the mix (eg 20% of the left ear reinjected in the right one)?

Dummy me I was looking for BS2B not Bauer... ;-))

In Foobar plugin we have a "cursor"? "Slider" ? for adjusting the level of mix effect

Right now you can only choose the different presets. These are available in the players settings. When using Material skin, go to Player settings, scroll down to Additional settings and choose "Bauer stereophonic-to-binaural DSP" from the top dropdown.

I think the Jan Meier preset is the most subtle.

A single slider cannot be implemented as the bs2b dsp needs two parameters: the feed level and the cutoff frequency:

     L1 = [10..150] mB of feed level (1..15 dB)
     and L2 = [300..2000] Hz of cut frequency.
