Feature request: Window vs door sensors (better: outdoor vs indoor door sensors) and target temp for open windows

I‘m using sensors on windows and doors ( some of the doors are towards a hallway - internal so to say, some are towards the outside).

The current logic of window sensors only supports outside doors/windows by shutting off heating completely.
I would rather like to:

1. when an outside door/window is opened set and limit the target temp to a defined value_1 instead of turning the heat off completely.
2. when an inside door is opened set and limit target temp to a defined value_2 instead of turning the heat off completely

reason for 1: in case someone puts a window into venting mode and forgets it i‘d rather lose energy than to freeze everything in the room (I.e min 10 degrees instead of „off“)
Reason for 2: if someone has the heat turned up to 21 and eg leaves the hallway door open I want to set/limit the heating (eg to 16 deg) as to not heat the room + hallway to 21 degrees.

As a ‚quick’ alternative to 1+2: make the „window open“ temp configurable instead of the hard-coded off-value

1. afaik there's already a feature request in the issues board - please contribute your feedback there, if necessary.
2. people will have varying flat layouts and requirements, maybe wanting to consider the other rooms windows also if the door is open, and maybe the next room too, etc... This feature would require a lot of work to make things flexible and model-able, because this is not the first "special case" requested like this. Unless there are a lot of other ppl wanting it exactly like you requested it, this is not gonna be a good candidate for a generic feature. If you want such custom functios, feel free to use normal HA automations for setting the BT thermostat target temperature as you want.

Your alternative seems to be the same as requested for 1), so you'd have to elaborate the difference?

for 2) i do think this is not an issue. the open/close of windows in combination with doors is doable using ha groups of sensors and some boolean logic ( as is already documented)
the real benefit is to have a distinction of outer and inner open doors+windows having separate temperatures. doing this with automations is achievable but i find it separates the config too much and makes it intransparent.
