I was wondering if this package is still maintained? If not I think it would be helpful for potential users if the status could be noted on the README, especially since it is not working on 1.12. cc @DilumAluthge

Perhaps it could also note something along the lines of "Cassette.jl is looking for a maintainer."

Adding a note to the README makes sense to me if the package doesn't work on Julia 1.12.

I unfortunately do not have the commit bit on this repo. Maybe @rayegun does?
