[QA] Refreshing while in the User Account area redirects you to the landing page #4206
Comments
I know what this is happening, but since we no longer control the autologin functionality of the wallet I can't really do all that much I'll investigate what our options are thought, but might not be possible in the end |
I was just redirected while trying to finalize a motion. I am trying to replicate this, but it's a bit concerning, I also experienced this inside the context of a colony and in an active motion. |
Update on this one @rdig - it's still happening with the embedded wallet from the user account. I am currently trying to test the redirection from inside the colony when trying to finalize a motion I experienced yesterday. |
@rdig another update (from Discord) I was able to replicate the redirection issue just now, however while being connected to Metamask. I was creating a new action (Mint tokens) using permissions, selected the CTA and was immediately redirected to the landing page, in a disconnected state (screenshot of where I landed). I experienced this yesterday after selecting the CTA in the 'Finalize' widget of an Advanced Payment. I will continue testing this as priority and catch a screen recording for clarity. |
The last comment is totally different than what this initial issue is describing. I will create a new issue to track this |
This is now being tracked in JoinColony/colonyCDappAuthProxy#35 |
Also this one is well @rdig @jakubcolony? |
This will be automatically closed by my #2448 which actually fixed this issue, but since that wasn't Once I merge it, it will automatically close this |
Steps to reproduce
Expected behaviour
This is not happening in production, and it would be nice for this not to be introduced into production given there are circumstances like avatar uploads and KYC content that users may be inclined to refresh in order to see up-to-date images/ information/ payment history/ payment information etc.
Actual behaviour
I was using an embedded wallet.
