Server Config

There are two servers where databases are located:

  • On both servers ES and PG are installed from repos (apt-get)

  • root login is disabled

  • only private-key authentication allowed, if you need access, contact Petr Jezek and send him your public key (openSSH format)

  • ES:

  • config: /etc/elasticsearch/elasticsearch.yml

  • working dir (data dir, logs, plugins): /home/elasticsearch/

  • service: /etc/init.d/elasticsearch * start/stop: sudo service elasticsearch start/stop/restart

  • PG: * config /etc/postgresql/9.1/main/  * data dir: /var/lib/postgresql/9.1/main * sudo service postgresql start/stop

  • dev: eeg2.kiv.zcu.cz

  • contains only DEVELOPMENT data

  • Elasticsearch and Postgres plus some additional (testing) services are running there

  • production: #IP_ONLY_ON_DEMAND#

  • ES and PG contains PRODUCTION DATA

  • clean server with only Elasticsearch and postgres running
