Enhancing the UI of Side Navbar including the hover effect

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The side Navbar does not look visually appealing to the users. It enlarges when hovered which is not necessary.

Describe the solution you'd like
I propose enhancing the UI which includes the font size, font color and hover effects of the components in the Navbar.
