<google-youtube-upload> 2.0.0 adds support for capturing video directly from a camera when run in browsers that support the MediaRecorder API. Browsers that don't support the necessary APIs can continue to use <google-youtube-upload> to upload local, pre-recorded video files to YouTube.

The demo page shows the full flow of capturing and uploading, followed by embedding the resulting YouTube video using the <google-youtube> element.
