Fresh Install My Neovim Configuration on Debian/Ubuntu distro

NerdFonts

Recommended font: Inconsolata LGC Nerd Font

Why: Ligtures are fancy but decreases my performance/velocity to read/understand complex code due the different combinations of operators in complex stuffs.(leetcoding, datasets, math, llms, etc). A small example of this is not noting the difference between ==> or => during code review.

Slashed zero, takes inspiration from many different fonts and glyphs, subtle curves in lowercase.

ChatGPT

  1. Go to https://platform.openai.com/docs/overview and login with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to: https://platform.openai.com/settings/profile?tab=api-keys
  3. Create a new secret Key and copy it.
  4. mkdir -p ~/.config/secrets.
  5. Copy your key and save it in ~/.config/secrets/open_ai_key.txt, using vi ~/.config/secrets/open_ai_key.txt
  6. Create a gpg key with your email using gpg --full-generate-key
  7. cd ~/.config/secrets then gpg --encrypt -r youremailhere@nice.com open_ai_key.txt
  8. Delete open_ai_key.txt rm open_ai_key.txt

Clone my config into ~/.config/nvim
