Some time ago I did a runtime test with an FS-5000 and the original firmware. After 12.5 days the device started to warn about low battery. The display was off most of the time. I repeated this test now with RadPro 2.0.3. on the same device. The display was also off, no ticker, no vibration, just the green pulse LED. The fully charged battery lasted 19.5 days, so a lot LONGER than with the original firmware! By the way, a clever person from the german Geiger counter forum found out what kind of step-up-converter chip it is that is used in high voltage generation: It is a TOREX XC9104: https://product.torexsemi.com/en/series/xc9104 |
