Vueapp

Information and links for Vue development

Initial Setup

1. Download and install MongoDB
2. Open up Editor or IDE (I used Visual Studio Code)
3. Open up terminal
4. npm install -g vue-cli npx
5. npx create-nuxt-app vueapp
   • Choose: Javascript
   • Choose: NPM
   • Choose: Bootstrap Vue
   • Choose: Express
   • Choose: Axios, PWA Support
   • Choose: Jest
   • Choose: Universal
   • Choose: jsconfig.json
6. cd vueapp
7. npm install vuetify mongodb lodash @onekiloparsec/vue-xeditable
8. npm run dev

Build Setup

# install dependencies
$ npm install

# serve with hot reload at localhost:3000
$ npm run dev

# build for production and launch server
$ npm run build
$ npm run start

# generate static project
$ npm run generate
