What is the best way to contribute 3d printable files

I'm just starting to get into this build and was wondering the best method to contribute possible improvements to the 3d printable files. For instance, I just modeled a stronger u_axis_motor_mount that should drop in nicely to the existing assembly and can be printed without supports.

This is great! I think it improves the current design of the u_axis_motor_mount by a lot.

This sounds like a plan!

The 'Compact but Powerful' 40mm Motech steppers that E3D sells, along with one variant of the 42STH40-1684MAC 40mm stepper that LDO sells have 27mm shafts so I will create a second version with additional clearance for these models.

Which file format is preferable? STEP files might be most useful for people looking to make their own changes, but STL/3MF may be easier for some to print. Perhaps both file formats?

Where should I place the files in the folder structure in the PR?
