I really like your visual vocabulary. I think the typology is really nice.

I would suggest to add visualisation of uncertainty (or confidence intervals). One example would be coefplots which visualize the coefficients of a regression with confidence intervals.

+1 for that idea. I much prefer that method for drawing attention to differences including uncertainty. (Example attached)
