When 'img' tag meets 'a' tag

I use the code you provide in Liquid dark theme, but I can't reproduce your problem.

When the code is right, the image always displays. When you choose the image, the img code displays in white color.

No effect only mouseover.

As you can see in the gif:

The problem occurs when you try to edit the image link (click on the image to edit the link and you will be able to reproduce the problem)
