Mode Reference

Panel

Reference mode aims to hold a set of pins from various sources composed into a custom board. Reference mode boards can be saved to Krita save files.

Display Interaction

  • LMB x1 : Active select or drag for box select
  • LMB x2 : None
  • SHIFT + LMB : Camera Pan
  • SHIFT + RMB : Camera Zoom
  • CTRL + LMB : Select
  • ALT + LMB : Drag and drop
  • SHIFT+CTRL + LMB : Pixmap transform
  • MMB : Camera Pan
  • WHEEL : Camera Zoom
  • SHORTCUTS : Undo and redo

Pixmap Transform

Each pin are composed by nodes that become blue when used

  • Empty : Move
  • Node Corner : Scale (snaps with mouse near node)
  • Node Center : Rotate
  • Node Edge : Clip (no snapping)

Context Menu

Right click on the panel to access options relative to the element clicked

Context Pin

  • Zoom : Amplify display
  • Greyscale : Toggle greyscale display
  • Flip Horizontal : Toggle flip horizontal display
  • Flip Vertical : Toggle flip vertical display
  • New Path : Assign a new file path
  • Delete : Remove from the board

Context Selection

  • Pack Line : None
  • Pack Column : None
  • Pack Optimized : None
  • Delete : Remove selection from the board

Context Board

  • Rebase : Refresh all elements
  • KRA Load : Load board from KRA file
  • KRA Save : Allow to save board to KRA file
  • Delete : Clear board

Context Zoom

  • Close : Amplify display close

Drop References

Drag and drop a selection of files into the panel to hold them as a pinned references on the board. A triangle is displayed when a drop is detected.

Reference mode options

  • Undo : Undo camera/pixmap transformation from history
  • Redo : Redo camera/pixmap transformation from history
