Mode Reference

Panel

Reference mode aims to hold a set of pins creating a custom board. Pins can be set from various sources and Sync will display their status. Reference boards can be saved into Krita save files or independent *.eo files.

Display Interaction

  • LMB x1 : Board - None, Pin - Select active pin ( during hold )
  • LMB x1 ( drag ) : Board - Box select, Pin - Simple transform ( move or scale )
  • LMB x2 : None
  • SHIFT + LMB ( drag ) : Camera Pan
  • SHIFT + RMB ( drag ) : Camera Zoom
  • CTRL + LMB : Board - Box select, Pin - Select or deselect
  • ALT + LMB ( drag ) : Pin - Drag and drop active pin
  • SHIFT + CTRL + LMB ( drag ) : Board - Box select, Pin - complex transform ( rotate or clip )
  • MMB ( drag ) : Camera Pan
  • WHEEL : Camera Zoom
  • SHORTCUTS : Undo and redo

Pixmap Transform

Each pin are composed by nodes that become blue when activated

Neutral ( simple transform )

  • Empty : Move ( snaps )
  • Corners : Scale ( snaps with mouse close )

SHIFT + CTRL ( complex transform )

  • Center : Rotate ( snaps to fixed angles )
  • Edges : Clip ( no snapping )

Context Menu

Right click on the panel to access options relative to the element clicked

Board

  • Insert Text : Create a Pin with text
  • Select All : Select all pins on the board

Requires Pigment.O

  • Pick Color : Toggle on for LMB press to pick colors from the widget
  • Rebase : Reload all pins for synchronization
  • Delete : Delete all pins from the board

Pin

Requires Image Pin

  • Zoom Pin : Amplify image pin ( no Edit )
  • Analyze Color : Send image path to Pigment.O for analysis
  • Greyscale : Toggle greyscale display
  • Flip Horizontal : Toggle flip horizontal display
  • Flip Vertical : Toggle flip vertical display
  • New Path : Assign a new file path

Requires Text Pin

  • Text Edit : Edit the text message
  • Label Color : Edit the text highlight color with a HEX code
  • Delete : Delete pin from the board

Selection

  • Pack : Pack the selection with various methods (Area, Perimeter, Ratio, Class) and (Line and Column)
  • Label Color : Edit the text highlight color with a HEX code
  • Delete : Delete selected pins from the board

Zoom

  • Close : Close image pin amplification

Drop References

Drag and drop a selection of Folders and or Files into the panel to apply the Function>> operation to that selection. A triangle is displayed when a drop is detected. Image files are added to the board as image Pins.

Reference mode options

  • Undo : Undo camera and pixmap transformation from history
  • Redo : Redo camera and pixmap transformation from history

Settings

User adjusted options

  • Import Original Size : Import images with original dimensions
  • Import Limit : Limits all imports to not exceed a given dimension
  • Undo Size : Number of allowed history steps
