Mode Reference

Reference mode aims to hold a set of pins from various sources composed into a custom board. Reference mode boards can be saved to Krita save files.
- LMB x1 : Active select
- LMB x1 (drag) : click on board for box select or click on pin for pin simple transform (move or scale)
- LMB x2 : None
- SHIFT + LMB (drag) : Camera Pan
- SHIFT + RMB (drag) : Camera Zoom
- CTRL + LMB : Select or deselect Pin
- ALT + LMB (drag) : Drag and drop
- SHIFT + CTRL + LMB (drag) : Pin complex transform (rotate or clip)
- MMB (drag) : Camera Pan
- WHEEL : Camera Zoom
- SHORTCUTS : Undo and redo
Each pin are composed by nodes that become blue when used
Neutral (simple transform)
- Empty : Move (snaps)
- Node Corner : Scale (snaps only with mouse over node)
SHIFT+CTRL (complex transform)
- Node Center : Rotate (snaps to fixed angles)
- Node Edge : Clip (no snapping)
Right click on the panel to access options relative to the element clicked
- Insert Text : Create a Pin with text
- Select All : Select all pins on the board
Requires Pigment.O for Color management
- Pick Color : Toggle on for LMB press to pick colors from the image
- Rebase : Refresh all elements
- Delete : Delete all pins from the board
Requires Image
- Zoom Pin : Amplify display (is affected by Edits)
- Greyscale : Toggle greyscale display
- Flip Horizontal : Toggle flip horizontal display
- Flip Vertical : Toggle flip vertical display
- New Path : Assign a new file path
Requires Text
- Text Edit : Edit the text message
- Label Color : Edit the text back drop color with a HEX code
- Delete : Delete pin from the board
- Pack : Pack the selection with 2 methods (Optimal and Linear) with its variants ((Area, Perimeter, Ratio, Class) and (Line and Column))

- Close : Amplify display close
Drag and drop a selection of files into the panel to hold them as a pinned references on the board. A triangle is displayed when a drop is detected.
Reference mode options
- Undo : Undo camera/pixmap transformation from history
- Redo : Redo camera/pixmap transformation from history
User adjusted options
- Import Original Size : Image original resolution for the imports
- Import Limit : Image imports cannot surpass a limit size
- Undo Size : Number of steps allowed for the reference transformation history
