How to report errors, crashes and bugs

We can support each other by posting processing errors, crashes or possible bugs you encounter related to ActiPASS. Please follow following procedure to report such issues. If you can identify a specific bug in the source code, please use the Github issues to report those.

Reporting errors, crashes and possible bugs checklist

Include following information (skip irrelevant). Remove sensitive information from files you attach. See attached files as an example.

1. ActiPASS version and system information (Windows version)

2. Describe the issue concisely and be very specific. Create separate discussions for issues/bugs which are not related to each other.

3. "ActiPASS_BatchSettings.txt" for the corresponding batch from BatchOut folder.

4. If ActiPASS crashed please also upload "ActiPASS_BatchLog.txt" for the corresponding batch from BatchOut. Please remove sensitive information. It's recommended to trim the log file such that only lines pertaining to the errors are present.

5. Attach any Crash Logs corresponding to the crash/issue.
