Changelog:
- Major refactoring of the application code. The S6Patcher now targets the .NET Framework 4.8 instead of 2.0.
- Added new lua script features like the single stop button, the downgrade button and the military release button in the game. These can be individually toggled on or off in the application (More about that in the Features file).
- "Play" launchers of the original release of S6 are now supported by the application.
- The "Help" - button in the upper right corner now includes an updater that signals if a new release of the S6Patcher is available.

Changelog:
- Added a simple modloader to the game, which makes it possible to load game files without having to replace/overwrite any existing files. Side-loading is possible. Find more about the feature here.

- This release features a complete rewrite of the UI, code optimizations and bugfixes in the application.
- It is no longer necessary to select the version of the game/editor you want to patch, the application will now correctly identify the file that the user passes.
- By clicking the "Help" - button in the upper right corner, it is now possible to check for updates.

Changelog:
- All Versions: The extended knight selection can now be individually selected in the application. The S6Patcher creates an entry in the Options.ini file telling the game whether to use the feature or not.
- All Versions: The Patcher can now activate the Limited/Special Edition in the base game. That enables f.e. some decorational objects that were previously only available in the Eastern Realm expansion.
- Small fixes and reorganization of the application code.

Note: 2.6 was re-released due to a small bug with usermaps containing a pre-defined knight selection. Everything regarding the knight selection should work fine now (If not, please create an Issue).

Changelog:
- All Versions: Fixed the knight selection in the "Eastern Realm" expansion pack. User generated maps that have a predefined knight selection are now working properly (meaning that the new selection is ignored for them). Same for multiplayer maps.
- All Versions: User generated maps that had a predefined knight selection with base game knights are now displaying the correct description and loadscreen image when the map ist started.
- Some small fixes in the application code and an icon was added.

Changelog:
- All Versions: In the options menu, there is now a checkbox that allows to set the game to "Windowed"-Mode. The game will either start windowed or in fullscreen depending on the state of the checkbox when it is started the next time.
- All Versions: It is now possible to use base game knights in the "Eastern Realm" expansion. All seven knights are selectable in the dropdown-menu. Warning: Some voicelines for Eastern Realm features like the tradepost may be missing and the stories of some maps might not really make sense (e.g. "Kestrals Wedding" with Kestral as knight^^).
- Mapeditor: The mapeditor can now show all possible texture types in all climate zones. (Some hidden texture types are now available too).
- Small fixes in the application code and updated messages regarding user actions.

Changelog:
- History Edition: Using 0 as autosave interval will now correctly disable the autosave system completely and setting any other value aside from 0 will reenable it with the specified value.
- Original release (OV): It is now possible to select 2K (2560x1440) and 4K (3840x2160) resolutions in the video options menu.
- All Versions: In the options menu, the border scroll and zoom speed values are now correctly read and set from the Options.ini file and are not reset to their default values whenever the menu is opened.
- All Versions: The main menu of the game will now show the current S6Patcher version and was slightly reworked.

Changelog:
- An error in the game code, that occured when an entertainer was dismissed and subsequently caused the game to crash, was resolved. The EntityID of the entertainer is now correctly pushed onto the stack and no access violation will happen anymore. This fix applies to all versions of Settlers 6.
- When a backup is restored in the application, the UserScript - files are now also deleted. In the previous version of the S6Patcher, only the game executable was restored.
- Small fixes in the application code.

- The History Edition from Steam is now supported by the application. All features that were previously available in the Ubisoft Connect HE are now also available in the HE from Steam.
- The Mapeditor can now also load map files which were """encrypted""" by the S6Tools.
- Added some Lua-Script bugfixes (Cathedralname and Wallbutton) in the local userscript.
- Small error fixes in the application.

Changelog:
- The texture resolution for ground textures can now be individually choosen by the user. It is recommended to set them in the interval between 128 and 4096.
- The Meldungsstaufix, that was previously only available in the History Edition, is now also available in the Original Game.
- When using Steam versions of the Original Game, it is now possible to patch them, provided they have been decrypted with Steamless first.
- Small error fixes in the application.
