Quickstart is out of date and could likely be simplified

Why

The problem I am trying to solve is that a new developer deploying Big Bang for the very first time is presented with a bit of a chaotic quickstart guide that isn't currently kept up to date (as far as tool versions).

Proposed Solution

As a somewhat internal person, I was able to utilize the k3d-dev.sh script and the BB-DEV cloud account. I was struck by how much simpler that was than the quickstart guide. I propose extracting some of the VM configuration steps into their own script and sharing that between the internal dev script and the external quickstart.
