  • define input data structure based on Ribasim database, seperate DB or convert Aquacrop Fortran standard into Ribasim
  • investigate if wflow supports aqucrop as main crop model
  • define new node type (crop/irrigation node)
  • implement needed input parameters (to do check WRM experts). Minimal are: %area (t) / croptype (t)
  • implement needed output parameters (to do check WRM experts)

In design session 30-1-2025 the following journey needs to be supported:

  1. Given is a network that could have already nodes with fixed or variable demands for irrigation in the network. if this need to be defined more accurate with changes in crop and area over time a user should be able to do this by:
  2. Define basin polygons (required)
  3. Define fractions max size agriculture area (abs area / croptype = fraction*polygone size)
  4. define irrigation efficiency [%] effectively go to crop
  5. check default
  6. define growing season
