What to expect

I managed to get r1000main.sim up and running. Since my computer is not the fastest I thought 3x slower than the projected ~130 hours would be realistic. However I'm at 560 hours and counting. _r1000.log is just spitting out FIDO:....... and _.console is at: starting virtual memory system. Is my system really so much worse, or is this not usual?
