I am trying to make a discord bot in python that uses this, but I can never seem to get my head around json for some reason. Can someone help me get a string for each image URL if I only need one at a time please?

I assume you are using the requests library to make the request.
Doing response.json()['url'] should get you the image link.

I have built a small react app with the default URL to fetch a couple of memes.

I also want to add some categories on the app to select a topic, I am new to Reddit as well, how can I get the already existed subreddits?

Is there somewhere I can see some sample subreddits?

Hey
If you want to host this app by yourself you need to have a redis server running too. You need to host a redis server outside of repl to make it work.

If you don't want to go through all that trouble you can use the v1.5 of the app which is written in python and does not need redis. The performance won't be as good and there might be bugs, so be wary.

png is already available, jpeg isn't.

Anyways, i was using this meme_api for my telegram bot, so i ended up just sending the original image link and let telegram generate the preview automatically.

Hi! Im trying to implement random meme in too an app we are doing in School. When I do the http.get request in getting this error message. "The following ImageCodecException was thrown resolving an image codec:
Failed to detect image file format using the file header.
File header was [0x3c 0x21 0x44 0x4f 0x43 0x54 0x59 0x50 0x45 0x20]."

Im assuming I need to have the right header but How do I find the right header? :)
