HI there. I am an absolute novice, so I beg for your patience. Thank you :) Anyhow, I processed an image in Siril (stretching mainly) and saved as TIF. I Tried to open the TIF with Wavesharp and I got the error message "Unique luminance count low (n=1)". It opened something, but it was just a black square. To contrast, I tried to open the image before I did anything to it in Siril and that opened just fine. Do you have any suggestions or thoughts? Thank you in advance. |

Hi, Without having a look at the processed image from Siril I cannot guess what is wrong with it. The message you got in waveSharp simply tells that it did not see any data in the image, my guess is that the file was not saved properly from within Siril. Can you open the same file with other software ? cheers |

Yeah, sorry! I tried to attach it but it wouldn't let me attach that
format. That said, it would explain why it came up as a blank square when
it finally opened. I will try again with a new version and if it happens
again I will send you the file here to look at.
Thanks so much for the quick reply,
-b

No problem, I have no experience with Siril so I cant help with that. The TIFF format however is something that can give problems, try saving as 16 bit-PNG from Siril. cheers |

Ahh ok! I did not know that. Like I said, I am so very new to all of this.
I appreciate it :) And the processed PNG *did* open, so that was a good
call.
Cheers,
