Hi, The way the filters work is identical to RegiStax6. I suggest looking at the (old but still valid) documentation of V6 (https://www.astronomie.be/registax/denoiseandsharpen.html). Unfortunately there is no "golden" setting for wavelet-settings, the settings need to be adapted for your image (based on camera/telescope setup) and the noise in the stacked image. Only by experimenting you will get a good feeling of what works and how. Many people have done so and its not difficult nor dangerous, images dont break ;) cheers |
