waveSharp 0_2: stretching the histogram behaves differently than in Registax

Describe the bug When I grab the RH handle of the histogram and bring it left, the image rapidly becomes over exposed
A clear and concise description of what the bug/error is.

To Reproduce

1. start waveSharp
2. Click on Show histogram
3. ...Click on 'Autobalance' to adjust colour
4. Grab RH slider below histogram and slide left to the edge of histogram to stretch histogram to the right
5. Part of the image becomes very overexposed well before the slider touches the histogram

Expected behavior

In Registax, if I click on the RH slider and move it to the edge of the histogram, I get a nice even brightening across the image. I want Wavesharp top behave the same!

Hi LacailleOz,

I suggest opening the RAW_L channel, than you can see far better what you are doing with that slider.
This is most likely not a bug (thus moved to the disscussions QandA part), be aware that you are clipping/stretching the luminance channel and not the separate RGB channels.

The red-encircled zone BTW also shows there are pixels getting overlit. I think the gaussian filters (which are very large) and the strong enhancement (slider at 90) probably create a very wide stretched histogram.
You can also inspect this by switching from a LOG-based histogram to a "normal" histogram.
