Help with bepinex project

im currently trying to create a project in bepinex but i would like some help since you are very very good at this stuff may you please accept contributor rights to my github repo?

basically im not sure how to fully make sense of the code, i made a basic plugin but i dont know how to make it do stuff

do you have any advice though for starting to make mods bc im trying to make a mod for a game called smash legends

Well, you probably need to study the entire game's code for quite a while, to understand how you can integrate your own things into it. I spent an entire summer studying Streets of Rogue's code, 8-10 hours a day, and only then managed to come up with a viable way of doing stuff (although I had almost zero C# experience at the time). More team-oriented and user-friendly games will probably be easier to understand though. You should try looking for any existing mods, documentation on the game, or you could ask the devs.
