1장은 기본적으로 데이터베이스가 무엇인지, 어떻게 구성되어 있는지에 관한 것을 다루는 장이었기에 우선 DBMS가 무엇인지 아는 것을 시작으로, 이어서 데이터 중복을 막기 위한 이유 등의 파일시스템과 DB를 비교해 어째서 DB를 사용하는 지에 대한 이유를 알아가는 것이 중요하다고 생각했습니다.
