Libbi - Unable to enter App Email/Password

Thankyou for this very helpful integration

I've successfully added the Hub and API key and all my devices (vHub, Zappi, Eddi, Libbi) have appeared but I'm unable to add the App password because I use google integration. This was originally done because I believe in the early days to use Octopus/MyEnergi integration both had to use the same logon system.

Have others had the same problem?

What features/benefits will I be missing without being able to enter APP credentials for Libbi?

You only need your hub serial number and an API key obtained from the ME web portal

That being the case, why does it ask for the App logon and password on setup and in configure?
Is it redundant now?

Resetting my google password would make no difference as it would appear it would need the myenergi to be using a standalone logon and password to work.

Decoupling Myenergi from google logon has it's downsides and risks which was why my question really remains; what added features or benefits (if any) does entering the Login details add to Libbi support? I can see the libbi device and entities using just the hubserial# and API Key.

It hasn't stopped me using the integration and certainly not fretting. I posted in the hope of extending my knowledge and/or understanding of the integration without making assumptions. I also hoped any answers may be useful to others.
