Welcome to the CICE wiki!

This repository contains the CICE sea ice numerical model starting with version 6, which is now licensed for use through the CICE Consortium.

The column physics portion of the CICE code, 'Icepack', is kept in a separate Icepack repository. CICE includes Icepack as a git submodule.

Releases

The CICE Version Index of numbered CICE releases since version 6 has specific information for each release. Each release is available as branches in this repository or as tarballs.

CICE Recent-Changes provides information about developments on the master branch since the last numbered release.
