Scrimmie! v3.5 (Pre-Release)
This is a pre-release version, the code will be further appended once Season 10 launches on Tuesday, April 16 to include Venture, and to fix any bugs that may arise from the new patch.
Scrimmie! v3.5
Season 10 Support
- Venture is Enabled
- Clash is Enabled (w/Competitive Rules)
New Language - Japanese 🇯🇵
The most noteworthy feature of this update, Japanese is now supported with Scrimmie! I'm happy to be able to expand Scrimmie! to the rapidly growing Japanese Overwatch scene!
All translations were done by me, with some help from ChatGPT (I am a Beginner in Japanese), so there may be errors. If there are, please report them to me!
Language Localization Improvements 🇰🇷🇯🇵
I have made some small changes to the Help HUD aimed at improving Language Localization for the two Asian languages we support: Korean and Japanese
- Scrimmie! has now been translated into Hangeul and Katakana, as well as the version number is displayed using appropriate markers (판/版)
- Time for AFK players uses the "second" marker in Korean/Japanese (초/秒)
OverPy & GitHub
I have migrated Scrimmie! over to OverPy, which will allow me to ship updates quicker, and make optimize the code better for all of you. In addition, I have created an official GitHub for Scrimmie, as some code may become hard to read through the built-in Workshop Editor or the Workshop.codes Editor.
Also, this further affirms that my code is completely open source under the CC BY-NC-SA 3.0. This also means that you can directly contribute to the development of the Scrimmie! project on here!
Performance Enhancements & Bug Fixes
- Optimized the Defender Teleport rule using OverPy's switch functionality
-
Fixed Hybrid/Escort Autocompletion
I think, please let me know if it still isn't - Changed the "Scrimmie!" text to Yellow for S10
