• 1. If you buy something in signup, the experience immediately after checkout feels broken. 2 or 3 different screens and interfaces flash in and out of view. Like a prototype, hastily made ecomm site, or an app malfunctioning. It’s a really bad and low quality result for just purchasing something. 👩🏻‍💻 Owner: @Automattic/quake
• 2. We still have three or four different versions of the white, interstitial loading screen in signup and onboarding. Creating the same poor introduction to Dotcom. 👩🏻‍💻 Owner: @escapemanuele @Automattic/vertex
• 3. If you buy a domain in signup, you’ll see two different versions of your domain in UI. In the launchpad preview you’ll see your purchased domain. But in the post-launch modal and in our sidebar you see a subdomain. If you click the post-launch modal to view site you see your purchased domain. 👩🏻‍💻 Owner:
• 4. After you click the post-launch modal to view your site you see a banner at the top of the screen that says, “Is this your new site?” (Of course it is?) “Log in to activate admin features and dismiss this message.” (But I’m already logged-in?) 👩🏻‍💻 Owner:
• 5. If you click the log-in button in the banner above you see a log-in screen that highlights a missing avatar lending an additional broken experience. 👩🏻‍💻 Owner:

@oskosk These are issues that are generally pre-existing, jankiness in our onboarding. I thought Quake could take some as Groundskeeping tasks. Do you agree? Or I can file them all in the big board an leave them for anyone to pick up. What approach is best?
