Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
- Use of derogatory language, offensive comments, or personal attacks.
- Sexualized language, imagery, or attention, as well as unwelcome sexual advances.
- Publishing others' private information without explicit consent.
- Trolling, spamming, or disruptive behavior that hinders productive discussion.
- Any conduct that violates the rights or dignity of others or creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
Community leaders are responsible for enforcing these standards consistently and fairly. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to:
Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or behavior inconsistent with community standards.
Consequence: A private, respectful conversation with the individual, highlighting the issue and providing guidance on appropriate conduct. If necessary, a written warning may be issued, with an explanation of the violation and expectations moving forward.
Community Impact: Repeated or egregious violations of community standards.
Consequence: A temporary suspension from community participation for a specified period. During this time, the individual may not engage in community activities or interact with community members. After the suspension period, the individual may be reinstated, subject to continued adherence to the Code of Conduct.
Community Impact: Severe or persistent breaches of community standards, including harassment, discrimination, or threats.
Consequence: Permanent removal from the community, with no opportunity for reinstatement. This decision is made by community leaders after thorough investigation and consideration of the facts.
If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to the community leaders immediately. Reports will be handled confidentially and with respect for the privacy of all parties involved.
This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces, including online forums, social media platforms, events, and any other channels where community interaction occurs. It also applies to behavior outside of official community spaces if it has the potential to negatively impact the community or its members.
